Nook. Nook. Nook.

So……… I got a Nook for Christmas.

nooook

I unwrapped the case for it first, and I was like, what the beep is a nook? Well, until this very moment, I was still thinking… what the beep is a NOOK!? Well, I started researching, I can get some of my books I need for school on here, and I can download any book I can dream of! Kind of cool. I mean, I still have to pay for them, but they are cheaper. I currently am just downloading “samples” of books. I will be sure to blog about what I think about them. hopefully this will make me read more. Then I would have something to blog about… books!! :)

P.S. More to come on Christmas. I would do it currently, but I’m busy watching GLEE! I got the first season for Christmas, and I can’t. stop. watching. I’m a Gleek. An absolute GLEEK.

Guten Tag

Today, Mindy Ann and I went shopping. (On a Sunday, Naughty, I know.) My mom has been quite the slacker this year, so we decided to try and help her out by getting her duties as “Santa” taken care of. It was SO much fun, and I really love being Santa. I can not wait for CHRISTMAS!!! My little friends Dylan and Kayson are going to be so excited. After shopping, we wrapped all sorts of presents for hours. Football game after football game. (Char was in charge of the remote! :) ) We watched the Packers/Patriots game, and I was rooting for the Patriots. We didn’t watch the end of the game, but can I just tell you that I am seriously disappointed in Tom Brady?

How do you go from looking this beautiful:

Tom

To this nasty:

Don’t get me wrong Tom, I still LOVE you, your hair is just something we will have to work through. And your marriage. :)

Any who, My parents and I played lots of Wii tonight. It was also way fun. After a while my mom got fed up and went to bed, so Char and I turned on the “Momma Mia” soundtrack (which I love) and played away.

It was a pretty good day. I’m definitely excited for Christmas, and I want more quality Family time. :) It’s amazing how great family can be when the source of drama isn’t around, or being talked about! haha!!

Until next time bloggers.

Random…

I have found that I love fried zucchini… From Brads food hut… Thank you Leila! I got some today, but I decided I liked them better when I peeled off the “deep fried” part and just ate the zucchini. Even though it defeats the purpose of buying them deep fried, they still taste DELICIOUS with out the fattening part. Although I’m sure they still have bad things all over them.

I’m currently obsessed with this song:

I used to be obsessed with Nelly. I listened to his album ALL OF THE TIME. I still really love him, I had just not heard from him in a while. ha!

Another one I love?

I want someone to sing it to me someday. :)

Love,

Mariah C.

Oops.

I had a little accident.

oweeeee

The blood tear makes it look a lot worse then it really is. I don’t need stitches. :)

Be careful with screwdrivers. Those things are sketchy!

You wanna know a secret?

I like dancing. But I only like dancing when its just me. And when its just me… I dance like Beyonce. I kid you not. I’m good! ;)

I don’t usually dance in front of anyone because I feel like a fool.

My dance parties? They consist of a two year old, and a seven year old. They are so bomb that I sometimes even get embarrassed to dance in front of them! Someday I will have to get a picture of them. Kayson is really good at busting onto the dance floor, fist pumping, hip thrusting, and head banging. And Dylan, he is good at break dancing. Serious. I’m not lying.

Sometimes I dance when Miss Jones turns on the strobe light, and the lights are off. But only sometimes. Am I weird? Does anyone else have this issue of feeling like a fool ALL OF THE TIME? I even get embarrassed when I dance with old people at Emerald Pointe.  And yes, I used to do it once a week. It’s always awkward dancing with a 95 year old though. Ever had an old man “nibble” your ear? I can cross that off my bucket list.

Obviously I have had a mood change since last night. But sometimes being with good friends, and chatting over cheese cake is the best thing a girl named Mariah C. could do.

fun!

All of my opinions are still true, that’s for sure.

But chatting about those are for a different post because I am too tired.

Auf wiedersehen!!

My Opinions

I think, that if you do things that deserve for you to be in jail… you should be put there. Do the crime pay the time. Ever heard of it?

I think that you should never have immature boys come to your house threatening someone to get out before they pull a gun. Do you actually think that will help your situation?

I think that if you want to be a mother, you should act like one.

I think that if you want to be a JUNKIE, stay away from my family. There is no reason we need to be a part of it.

I think if your going to defend some one, you should have the facts. Preach the truth. Know what the person is really up to. What they have really done, and what they haven’t. Guaranteed it would change your opinion.

I think that staying home with someone’s grandson all day is a lot of work. So don’t tell me I don’t do anything for you.

Don’t tell me to go away, unless you absolutely mean it. If I felt like I could handle it, I would have been gone a long time ago. When the time does come… I hope to “go away”. Never look back on the CC. Hopefully I grow a pair and really do it.

I don’t like fake people.

I don’t like drugies, no matter who they are.

I don’t like liars.

I hate when people think they are above the law.

I hate when my mom is mean and makes me want to post blogs that make sound like a crazy person. :)

I hate feeling dysfunctional. I hate being dysfunctional.

Someday, I hope things change. That would be a change I would love.

I love my sister.

I love my best friend.

I love ranting and raving.

Christmas Spirit

I lost it. I don’t know where it went!! It is so weird that it is the tenth of December and it still doesn’t feel like Christmas yet. Last night, my little family and I set up our tree. We used ornaments we used when I was a little girl. They haven’t been used in years, so it was SO fun to pull them out of the box and remember them from when I was a wee tike! Some of them are still lost from the move, so I didn’t get to see my favorite. She is a clay ballerina in a pink leotard and tutu! I am not a dancer, however, I love that ornament.  20101210_8

This is one of my favorites. She is a little mouse sitting in a jewelry box writing “Merry Christmas” with her lip stick!

This one is from my second Christmas! My first Christmas ornament didn’t make it on the tree this year due to a little two year old named Kayson! :)

I made this handsome reindeer. It has my little picture on the back!

This is my nephew Dylan. He is so excited for Christmas and wants Santa to bring him an X-box! Good luck with that Dylan! I’ve been asking Santa for a car for years now. I guess the price range is a LITTLE different. But same dif, right?

This is our awkward family picture. haha! Kayson wouldn’t keep his hand out of his mouth long enough for my technologically challenged mother to take the picture! ;)

I’m currently baking Christmas tree shaped cakes for my Fathers work Christmas party. They should be pretty interesting! So, until next time bloggers!!

Merry Chirstmas-ish!
